What the final clean includes
A good build clean is detail work. Each surface gets vacuumed, then wiped damp. Windows get cleaned inside. Glass, frames, and sills. Stickers come off fixtures. Floors get vacuumed and mopped wall to wall.
Restrooms get set for move-in. Lights and vents get wiped. Dust comes off door tops and pipes. Nothing gets skipped. Build dust hides in all spots.
Rough clean vs final clean
Long jobs may need two rounds. A rough clean mid-job clears heavy dust. The final clean comes last. It makes the space move-in ready.
Most office build-outs only need the final clean. Book it for after the punch list is done.
Timing matters
Book the final clean when all trades are done. Painters out. Electricians out. If crews come back, dust comes back. Set the date with your GC.
